Product description
The P6300 EVA controller has two SAS connectors, each carrying two SAS signals. With the P6300 EVA, one SAS cable, carrying two redundant SAS signals, connects to one SAS I/O module on a drive enclosure; and the second SAS cable, carrying two more redundant SAS signals, connects to the other SAS I/O module of a drive enclosure. For the P6300 EVA, up to ten drive enclosures can be connected in a SAS daisy-chain arrangement with a controller pair. At the end of the daisy chains, each chain is then connected to the second P6300 EVA controller.
