The new CNet CWR-854 Wireless Router features an integrated 4-port 10/100Base switch, an 802.11g compliant Access Point and a cable/DSL router all in one box. The router comes with a built-in firewall feature for protecting LAN nodes against intruders. The Access Point side of CWR-854 can be configured to operate in several modes from a basic AP to WDS or both as well as a client mode. Wireless security is achieved through advanced encryption schemes such as WPA and WPA2 as well as 802.1x authentications.
