Product features
- Industry-leading scale-out architecture for small offices, branch offices and enterprise data centers
Scale-out architecture enables pay-per-use. Choose virtual backup solutions or dedicated appliances with the capacity you need. You can deploy a small solution first and expand it with virtual capacity, mounting frames or nodes. With a range of capacity benefits for all requirements from small branch offices to enterprise data centers with centralized monitoring via StoreOnce Enterprise Manager. For enterprise data centers, StoreOnce 6600 storage scales from 120 TB uncompressed (72 TB usable) to 2240 TB uncompressed (1728 TB usable). StoreOnce Federated Catalyst offers the advantage of reducing the amount of storage and simplifying the management of large environments. For medium-sized data centers, choose StoreOnce 3520 for scaling from 12 to 24 TB, uncompressed (7.5 to 15.5 TB usable), StoreOnce 3540 for scaling from 24 to 48 TB, uncompressed (15,5 to 31.5 TB usable), StoreOnce 5100 for scaling from 48 to 288 TB, uncompressed (36 to 216 TB usable) or StoreOnce 5500 for scaling from 60 to 1120 TB, uncompressed (36 to 864 TB usable). The StoreOnce VSA virtual appliance is suitable for small offices and branch offices. StoreOnce VSA is licensed for 4 TB, 10 TB, 20 TB or 50 TB capacity. Or choose the entry-level StoreOnce 3100 appliance for a capacity of 8 TB (uncompressed, 5.5 TB usable). - Federated deduplication across the enterprise with a single deduplication technology - StoreOnce
Deduplicate anywhere via physical or virtual appliances - at the application source, on the backup server, at the target appliance or via StoreOnce RMC directly from 3PAR StoreServ. Deduplicate where it makes sense for your organization - without technology vendor restrictions - and save time and money. HPE StoreOnce provides a unified solution for seamless data transfers across the enterprise; with cost-effective virtual machines for backups that are ideal for small remote environments, high-performance dedicated applications for larger sites, and highly scalable, high-performance systems for your data center. Federated Deduplication is available in the HPE StoreOnce systems portfolio - including dedicated applications, virtual backup solutions and on media and application servers with HPE Data Protector, Veritas NetBackup and Backup Exec software via OST, Veeam and BridgeHead software. HPE StoreOnce also supports critical business applications via free Catalyst plug-ins for Oracle RMAN, SAP HANA, MS SQL and SAP on Oracle. With HPE StoreOnce Federated Catalyst in a multi-node system, Catalyst storage can span multiple nodes. This simplifies backup management and optimizes available storage in large environments. - Back up within the designated backup window and meet recovery SLAs with StoreOnce's industry-leading performance
A host of outstanding, best-in-class price/performance benefits to meet the challenges of data growth and shrinking backup windows across the enterprise. Industry-leading performance with a maximum of 184 TB/hr, with StoreOnce 6600 and StoreOnce Catalyst. Up to 37.7 TB/hr with StoreOnce 5500, up to 26.7 TB/hr with StoreOnce 5100 or up to 12.7 TB/hr with StoreOnce 3540 and StoreOnce Catalyst. Up to 12.7 TB/h with StoreOnce 3520, up to 6.4 TB/h with StoreOnce 3100 or up to 6 TB/h for StoreOnce VSA with StoreOnce Catalyst. - Automated, efficient data backup and disaster recovery with StoreOnce Catalyst
Manage backup and disaster recovery processes from a single console with StoreOnce Catalyst. Catalyst over FC provides all the benefits of the current StoreOnce Catalyst in terms of ISV control and source-side deduplication, but over the FC fabric. Implement disaster recovery plans that were not feasible due to lack of multisite functionality, bandwidth costs and time. One-to-Many Disaster Recovery moves data from one site to many sites simultaneously. Staged disaster recovery moves data sequentially from one site to any number of other sites.
